Who We Are. OGF was established in 2000 as the result of two organizations joining together – the Donors Forum of Ohio (established in 1984) and Grantmakers Forum (established in 1985).

Dorothy Weiss becomes president of Grantmakers Forum |

DFO launches Ohio’s Promotion of Philanthropy Initiative |

DFO releases first report on philanthropy in the state: Ohio: The State of Philanthropy 1998 |

DFO helps to create The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio |

DFO and Grantmakers Forum merge to form Ohio Grantmakers Forum |
